We begin with questions from Conservative lawmaker Caroline Dinenage, that oversees the committee.

She initiates by providing details to the leaked memo authored by Michael Prescott and printed in the Telegraph.

"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation slanting in any particular direction, I simply desire it balanced, fair and fair," he says.

In response to a query if he thinks the BBC is structurally prejudiced, Prescott replies: "Absolutely not. Let's be clear, numerous aspects the BBC produces is top-tier - both documentary and entertainment shows."

However, he continues: "There remains real work that must be undertaken at the BBC."

The second previous consultant British Broadcasting Corporation adviser examined by the panel, Caroline Daniel, states she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it maintains a "persistent practice and active debate" regarding fluid and multifaceted topics.

"Was the BBC prepared to engage in a genuine discussion and debate and act accordingly?" she reflects. "As I see it, indeed, they were."
